Accessibility

This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

• The body text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible Next, a typeface the Braille Institute designed for readers with low vision.
• Text and background colours meet AA contrast. Highlights, colours and handwriting are never the only way something is said.
• Every chart also says its numbers in words, and bar charts are real tables underneath.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring. There’s a “Skip to content” link on every page.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, nothing on the site animates.
• Pages work at 200% zoom and on narrow screens without sideways scrolling.
